One of the most beautiful villages in France. Step on the way to Compostela, Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert and its church, jewel of the Languedoc's Romanesque art, occupy a wild site at the entrance of the Verdus gorges and the circus of the Infernet. From the Place de la Liberté and its imposing 150-year-old plane tree, the village spreads its narrow streets where you can admire Renaissance mullioned windows, twin bays and gothic lintels.
The caves of Clamouse
An underground wonder that the slow work of water has been steadily improving for millions of years. It owes its fame to the beauty, diversity, abundance and rarity of its concretions.

The Cirque de Navacelles
Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Cirque de Navacelles is an old meander that the Vis River has dug into the Causse limestone. Today, the waves of the river have abandoned it, offering at the sight of all this wonder of nature.
Created at the end of the 60s to regulate the floods of Lergue and Hérault, this artificial lake of 7km long is today melting in a surprising landscape, surrounded by mountains colored with red (the "ruffes"). Fishing, water sports, swimming and hiking will delight nature lovers.
